stomp

It's the talk of the town, and it deserves to be.

It's alot of rhythm and percussion out of the strangest things. Let's see, what did they use again; matchboxes, brooms, trash cans, plastic buckets, sticks, boxes, cigarette lighters, newspapers, plastic bags, paper bags, kitchen sinks, boxes, oil cans, even basketballs didn't escape them. They have the ability of creating something out of nothing, and that something is quite amazing on its own. Nobody would think of it, and if you look at it from an economical point of view, it's very cost-effective. Come on, these kinda things make it very easy for them to find sponsors to a show that rocks the house! When they were performing, even the stage was shaking at their jumping and clicking of shoes (they were wearing boots, sneakers and stuff, I guess they had the metal piece attached to the soles)

The crew, comprising of 7 people and 1 dolt (he pretty much stole the show with his antics, quite a loveable quirk) conjured this bright idea all the way from Brighton, England. I feel it's worth watching cause it isn't just about noise, there's plenty of dynamics involved. It isn't loud blatant noise repeating itself all over again, and it involves alot of synchronization. They're so well-timed, it reminds me of Charlie & the Chocolate Factory. XP

houhou was keng enough to take some photos of them in action (although the same crew were playing different positions) and man am I super-envious of him. I wanted a shot of the stage, it's quite neat~ there's an upper floor where the crew will play to their heart's content with the trash can lids, plastic buckets, pots and pans and the sort. That was super-cool!

Audience interaction was an integral part of the entire performance, most of which included the -do-as-I-do- kinda gig. Clapping until our hands were red, stomping the carpeted floors and having a good laugh after was fun. ^_^ If we didn't do it right, he'd take off his cap which seems to say, "What a sorry bunch." XP which was funny.
