3 musketeers

Today was a day of extreme fun. well, I wouldn't expect any less since the 3 musketeers are finally reunited! XDXD okay, so me, reeis-kun and ai-chan got together today. Let me relate from the beginning.

Started the day with reeis popping over (she drove! XD which would prolly mean I'll be sitting in her Atos later) and returning all the borrowed stuff (her borrowed stuff, I borrowed)..then tried putting on the yukata on reeis. She was commenting on how hot it was to wear it, being made of some synthetic cloth. And I do agree with her on the curtain part. It kinda feels like curtain cloth. Okay, so we got the actual yukata on all right, then came the obi. We had no freaking idea how to put it on...so we ended up on a rampage amidst all the paper and books and what not trying to look for the instruction thingy on how to wear it. @___@ which we failed to do so. That being the case, we dropped it altogether~

ai-chan called about 1pm, saying she's done with her driving lesson. Her very first tooo~ XD おめでとう! and so we agreed on going to pick her up and have lunch together. reeis drove. XDXD I can't get off the fact. It's soo.... wow. XD

reeis' threat of the day: "If you say that one more time I'm gonna crash into a coconut tree!"

Chilled at mcd's. How much more typical can things get? Seeing that it's the most convenient (and on reeis' suggestion too~) it gained unanimous consent. Laughing for the most part, we spent an hour or 2 discussing various things (including some afro @ starbucks right across at the newer part of Centerpoint and reeis' "scandal" which had to make headlines in some newspaper somewhere XP) before proceeding back to ai-chan’s.

Since reeis confessed to not driving for nearly a month I suppose ai-chan had something to freak about. But I think she did okay, except when she 1) nearly beat a red light and 2) nearly hit someone with her sideview mirror while she was driving us past a kampung area..

Ooh, this was when the fun started. After getting back to ai-chan’s, we…had a dress-up session.

item no.1: her gothic clothing she bought from taiwan
ai-chan returned from her taiwan trip a week or 2 ago I guesss…and she bought some of this goth stuff~ which was quite cute looking actually~ the first thing I thought of was emily strange~ ^___^ which in my opinion was rather more punkish than gothic. @__@ can’t really tell… so sue me XD

the skirt she plans to give it to her cousin, but to her dismay, the top was too big for her. So she plans to sell it off. Any takers? XP talk about free advertising. And yes, I got into it solely for demonstration purposes. It was so awkward. But all in the good name of fun. Surprising thing was, it fitted fine, somewhat.

item no.2: yukata
This was round2 after this morning’s session. Started with ai-chan…man she moves around a lot. Hahaha~ I had commented ‘even reeis was better behaved~~’ I suppose I was getting slightly irritated at her fidgeting. XD After every half minute or so she would be jumping around, flailing her arms or all 3 of us would just start laughing for no apparent reason.

Well, we still had problems with the obi. Turned out that the instruction sheet was less useful than we had thought it to be, but not entirely useless altogether. Thank goodness for that.

This time, after some gruelling experimentation, lots of laughing, tying strings, stuffing stray ends into the obi, we finally got it on right. Ai-chan looked swell. XD And we were so proud of our achievement. Can you imagine the pain the girls have to go through if they didn’t have anyone to help them? @___@

After her, was me. Waaah, finally I get to put it on. After 4 months of looking at it, I finally get to try it on XD It was fun. Just that I kinda regretted wearing such a thick t-shirt and jeans…shoulda set out with some thinner shirt and shorts. Cause it made me look bigger XP but still, it was ok. Yay! Took some photos, and we’re planning to wear it to ComicFiesta on the 17th. I don’t know if we’re going for both days, but we’re definitely going. On top of that, we’re planning to get some calendars to sell..so yeah, I’ll be in charge of the date layout and some arts, while reeis, ai-chan and kai-kun (whoaaa, haven’t seen kai-kun in quite awhile actually) get down to the arts. =D Don’t worry ai-chan, you’ll come up with a good front cover. We wholly trust you~ XD
