the 5th floor

As usual, arrived early at campus. Thought I'd take a twist, and visit that one floor I've often wondered about, but never really got the courage (fancy shmancy, but in truth, I'm a coward of sorts) to venture into the unknown. X3

Well, for starters, the floor has an entirely different look to it. Reminded me of those averagely priced hotel room corridors; they were carpeted, compared to the rest of the confinement which had mint green brick walls. If I wanted to use a metafore for this, maybe.... like entering the penthouse after years of living in a regular apartment.

*rolls eyes* Technically, this is only my second week here, but still~ there's a first for everything. I always wanted to see them in action; I suppose there being no classes @ 8am, no consumables in the works. *siiiiiigh* Although I thought I did smell something like custard or cake being made X3 I could be hallucinating, but still~~~

It was very fun to look at the gadgetry they use when making pastries, cooking, and stuff. Imagine; kitchen scientists, discovering new mouth-watering miracles to introduce to the rest of the world that had no better purpose of existence apart from tasting them, and then submitting unproductive critiques.

What wouldn't I give to be a food conossieur, or food journalist. XD

On Another Note:

It can get pretty lonely hanging around a building where everyone's always staring at you one way or the other. <_<

I was wanting to indulge in yet another useless pastime I last nutured in highschool with ai-chan and reeis; singing at school. I don't mean as a performance, but just for fun. We'd hide behind the staircase of Jati @ block E after the KH labs and sing all the badly tuned songs. There was once a janitor heard us and said it was good. XD That was pretty uplifting for something people usually throw rotten food at. Oh, yes, and there was once students from the block directly behind block E (also known as the Arts Stream block, but while we were shifting classes in Form4, we used them...so it wasn't really fitting, but still, the Arts people dominated it~) cheered us for it. Probably in jest; so we quickly scuttled off to look for another hiding place.

Likewise, I scouted an empty room with lack of human company. Goal reached after 10 mins. Includes walking *slowly* and mindlessly straying until I chanced upon it. It was pretty effective though; I managed to kill one entire hour there. And probably set people wondering whether a restless soul haunted that pitiful room. Until, until, a girl knocked on the door and asked to use the room to prepare for her presentation beginning in a few minutes. "Okay, sure~" Having my mood up and going, I wished her luck and left.
