birthdays & exams around the corner
Today was. Unproductive. What with exams around the corner (and I really mean that, not that it’s 3 weeks away…. does 156.5 hours count? Precious little time I’m not utilizing to study by commemorating a birthday of the birthday planner (of 2006 – the award for Outing Planner in general 2005 goes to houhou, without a doubt) and the child who obstinately refuses to accept that he’s being booted out of Neverland. =D
Calvin and Yk – to the two people who are of such distinct personalities (like snowflakes; there can never be two of the same, but I guess this is irrelevant) but not entirely different.
Penny and I did rather last-minute planning on this; she didn’t buy the cake till today, and neither did I get the cards till 930am – I spent the better half of last night doing top-secret stuff which both of them will know what it is soon enough. ^____^
1030am
I reach the foyer to see ty rush off to class, and Calvin with the cheek to say “Oo both of you came together….” together with Ben maniacally laughing over something or the other – seriously, its getting more hysteric with the passing of the day. Jordan was with his laptop playing Water Margin Online (some other MMORPG which I never seem to be interested in as I simply don’t see the point in leveling up/gaining money/treasure hunting/PVP-ing till the cows come home and STILL not finding the crux of enjoying it) and. And. Here I inwardly think, “Damn the kid, I thought you’re supposed to be in marketing class or whatever! >_<” cause with his presence it wasn’t wholly possible to get the rest to sign the birthday cards.

A rendezvous with Penny in the library solved the issue aforementioned. Wonderful what a few SMSes can do. Yk and Jon were in the library and for some silly reason I sent a message to Jinny thinking it was Jon I was sending it to =P Amazed that neither of them smelled any rats of any kind.
Now just counting down…

The cake, the surprise on their faces “I wonder how they did this without me knowing…” and the regular birthday proceedings livened things up. Calvin was getting impatient cause his clan of turtles had plans to go to the sea and he was getting hungry, and I’m just wondering how the heck it’s all gonna turn out. Turned out pretty swell actually X3 I’d entirely forgotten juice was fasting and I offered him a piece of cake @___@ craap! And to really push it I let the smell waft right beneath his nose – but that just goes to show he’s gotten good training in abstaining from consumption during the fasting month. Congrats XD

I finally beat my high score using my own account in Lumines! Goddamn it the last high score I earned I used kor’s account by accident. And damn I’m getting addicted to it, even though some of the songs are quite irritating like “Shake ya body”. Egh. But it’s super fun – and I’m a sucker for puzzle games.
