probably my ONLY 'holiday' post
It's been awhile since I've dared to clock in here. Reason being, well, no prizes for guessing.
On a one-week holiday which is rapidly ending. In fact, can I even call it a holiday? I know what I have to do;
-finish this stupid assignment 3 for computer systems. Marie, marie, don't torture me so @___________@
-finish up practical7 for programming session next week. Done most of it, which I found amazing since this officially marks the first time I'm more than 80% done with a practical. Most of the time it's just about half.
-I intend to start on my econs assignment which is due in 2 weeks, but, but, but.....
-study for a mid-semester test for computer systems next friday which bears 10% of final. GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!
-study for mid-semester test for programming on monday. GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! no marks though, but I still want to fare okay for this.
Ooooh and I got selected for the monbukagakusho selection test. Again. XP I must do better this time... now that I think I know what it's like to sit there. Same place, same time. Damn the Sundays. gaaah. And el's going to be there tooo!!! Yayy~~! I hope ai-chan can make it too, then that makes 3 of us XP
On Sunday, went to ai-chan's place for...need I say what? XP It's globally understood, I'm not there to be productive. Had a great lunch of popiah inclusive of a demonstration of how to wrap one properly. I guess ai-chan's mom couldn't stand seeing us ignorant beings not being educated to perform such refined art. Wow. What a mouthful. But but it was really fun XD
Reeis picked me up on Tuesday so that we could go to our alma mater -sounds flashy? hehehe- and pick up our SPM certs. Not the lousy printed on fax paper kind (that one we got months ago), but the pretty pretty printed kind complete with a hologram on it. Of course, our initial amazement was at how much the school had changed. The new headmistress (I'm guessing no headmaster would devote such amounts to decorative purposes) sure beautified the place. Really really. Don't believe me? Go back and check.
So far I've probably been only working hard for the first 3 days of the week. Monday to figure out computer systems, Tuesday and Wednesday devoted to programming. *thankyouallahpokutebuddhakamisamajesuswhoever*
And Today Was My Most Unproductive Day. *dies* Please don't make me repeat this tomorrow, otherwise I'm so blardyfreaking dead. *praystoallahpokutebuddhakamisamajesuswhoever*
Last night was fun though. I stayed up to watch Black Lagoon, 銀魂, and 舞-乙HiME.
Black Lagoon is a really damn cool show. It's about this regular 会社員(rokurou, aka Rock) who unkowingly is carrying some important illegal documents ends up being hostage to some 運びや. To protect the company, the top board decides to kill him, or rather, declare him dead. So the most obvious choice for him(and probably the best one too) is to join them. Very very nice since all of them have a very distinct personality. An exceedingly violent woman(Levy), a cool and collected baldie(Dutch) and a computer genius(Benny) who looks like he got dragged out of the deckchair.
銀魂 basically means silver soul. I can't really tell you what the story is; it's the kind you have to watch and see for yourself. The worlds are so mixed up you kinda just sit back gaping, choking, laughing and rolling around at the same time. It's bizzare. It's crazy. It's funny. It's practically =______=;;. But it's good. That's 銀魂 for you, folks! My main reasons for watching it include the fact that the guys there, although they look somewhat good, they're all crazy....and AND AND zorro/mugen's voice is in there! akagami, ai-chan! go find the sexy voice! wahahahah~ It really just makes me laugh.
舞-乙HiME is not exactly related to 舞-HiME, since now all the characters from hime to otome now play very different roles, as well as some having drastically different characteristics. Looks more light-hearted than hime, though. But looks interesting. I want to watchhhhh~~~~ T_____________T
This really reminds me of how much I miss watching anime. *sobs*
