monbukagakusho selection test
Woke up real early, about 6am. On a sunday. Why must they make these tests on weekends...>_<
English: The format kinda reminded me of the PMR BM paper. XP It was probably the easiest of the 4 papers. The articles were interesting, especially the one on simplicity or purpose or value or something of the sort. Confusing, but interesting =P.
Math: This was the beginning of a premonition of a sucky day ahead. This was also where I'm thankful that Math Studies helped. Majorly. But I seriously didn't know how to do the last question. I think I did ok for this since I did 2 out of 3 long-ish questions.
Chemistry: Ugh. This was Ugly with a capital U. I didn't understand half the terms there, since the only reliable reference I had was liyen's form5 reference books (I can't believe I'm saying this: Thank goodness for pelangi! XPXPXP) This was freaking difficult as I actually forgot the carbon compounds and all that jazz, and there was a whole question devoted to yours truly >_< style="font-weight: bold;">HEYYY!!! No fair man~~! T_T so like the stpm and a-levels people get an upper hand!!! WTF?! But since I couldn't do anything about it I just made sure I tried to answer everything, don't care how absurd the answer looks.
For lunch mom came to fetch me and we went to the nam heong chicken rice = 5 mins walk. =D It was nice, but the major highlight of it (in my opinion anyway) were the sweet potato balls...how do I describe it..crispy on the outside and mushy when you set it between your teeth. XDXDXD I loove it. And a glass of sugarcane~ well, my mom knows this place like the back of her hand since brickfields is almost a stone's throw from here. XD
I arrived just in time for physics. I steeled myself for it; I'm probably up against a bunch of stpm questions (again) so just use what I have.
Physics: To tell the truth it wasn't as bad as chemistry. Some of the most mind-baffling questions arose (There were 5 questions total) so for those I really made some wild rough guesses. AAgh.
I had thought of sitting for the Jap paper, but since the dumbo me... (refer above) I didn't. And if I gave a little more thought back then that taking this paper might just help me, even if it's just by a little little >_< aagh.
