sweet smell of success
I'm so proud of my new layout~~ XDXDXD I finally learnt how to do transparent scrollbars! XD Of course, its only limited to IE and Maxthon since Mozilla can't support it.. Actually I didn't have much choice, I would have preferred to go without the transparent scrollbars, but it would make the entire layout look U-gly.
the image is from the manga chokotto sister...which is super funny and super cute. I think its categorized under shoujo comics, but what do I care..I love the art, and the story is cute too~
I love it, I love it, I love it soo much~ I got the inspiration to make the layout more summer-like since the weather here is insanely hot. I was really thinking of the pool, the beach, sunscreen, all that stuff... then I came across the picture. I told myself, "It's perfect~~ If you don't use this one you'll regret it, you know."
Not much super-duper image editing done, but I needed to blend into the blue, which is nice and bright. Furthermore, I would have really liked to go playing in the sea, or the swimming pool, kinda felt like I was being pulled into the blue sea looking at the colour..Fitting of summer, don't you think? So I fiddled with it for abit~ yeah, I know, I need to work more on it. Someday I wanna use my own art as part of the layout, but they're all sketches, all uncoloured..how I wish someone could cg it for me. ai-chan's so busy there in kiasuland (sniffetty)
The blogger tags were what nearly killed me. No, thankfully, I didn't have to type everything, but quite a bit of tweaking done to make sure it came out right. It included some minutes of frustration, wondering why the )(@*#^%@ it looked like a huge mess (when clicked the preview button I nearly had a heart attack; everything was clumped in the center of the page) BUT! I got it done in the end. fuuuuh~ XD I love that feeling when I finally get something right out of my own effort, ne?
