sam fest

For those that don't know, its a rave party organized by S9 (that's my class) and T1. Minus the booze and the cigs (in mph anyway). Best part is, it's all in the name of charity. Held in MPH, 3 floors up, so it means a good exercise of 6 flights of stairs. @_@

Upon entering class this morning I realized that lots of people were missing, most of the guys lepaking or getting the stuff up @ mph. And to top it off, I was nearly falling asleep (stayed up to read up on the english stuff, as there was oral, worded as 'issue analysis' 2nd period after break) as mrs chong went on about the Julia sets and the Mandelbrot set...It looks pretty neat actually, mathematical art. whoaaa~ can you believe those patterns are a result of mathematical iterations?! I think its cool, even though its a real pain in the arse to calculate all that. Nevermind that then.

On to break, liyen, chengyee, yeehua, yuanshe, vincent, kenseong and kwokthye went to burger king...With vincent protesting,"**** you kenseong, I've been there 3 days in a row already.." kwokthye & mishan are leaving Taylor's ;_;

12.10pm
As for the issue analysis... ehehehe... To kill time while waiting for our turn, we were crapping to mainly dispel nervousness.. sooguan kept on making these funny wailing noises that all he had to do to scare people was cover himself with a white cloth (to be found in mph) and stand in the junction where the toilets were (at night).

First words from chinyuan right after;"OMFG I passed!!" In my opinion, it was more like casually talking to her one-on-one. The first words she said were,"Oh thank god, you're doing 'family life'. Everyone else has been doing 'environmental issues', and I've been at it since morning. You don't know how boring it is.." Omitting all the Manglish suffixes, I think it was ok. She just asked me 3 questions, after all, as long as I said something it was ok I guess.

12-something
Went to lepak in mph after the issue analysis.. Whoa kenseong's fake ID was really funny. XDXD It's on his blog anyway. The gem of it was the picture ID that accompanied the card. OMG it was....*pbfhtt* *laughs* *tries not to die laughing* *ahem* Gist of it was, he looked like an accident. =P On top of that, he was practically cornered by liyen and yuanshe (who asked him to run into a corner anyway) and... well, the guys say he was 'raped'. @_@ I do admit, it was forcefully taken. He is one heck of a bully-able guy XP (refer to the 'event' @ mac center)

There was a piano on the stage too! A Technics digital piano which really needs fixing. The last 2 octaves of the bass clef don't produce any sound, nor do the last 3 A's of the top 3 octaves, for one. I remember there was a faulty C# key, and some other stray ones.

note: supposed to have physics then, but mrs lim called in sick.. so..you can guess the rest.

about 1.00pm to 2.00pm
Then the real sound system came. Turntables, lotsa speakers, records, laptops...all that jazz. The guys carried all of the speakers (I think about 10 in all? not sure) from the ground floor up! *applauds* we helped out do up the tables and stuff, which included lots of cloth cutting. And somehow siangsern was always told off by chengyee, liyen and weehoo, for some. The scenario was funny because it made them all look like ahpos. Then sooguan came to 'patpo' and started clucking and doing all that useless stuff he does.

2.30pm
Went to chengyee's place to drop off the bags, and take a break from the heat which was practically melting us where we sat. Malaysian weather. *poofety*

3.00pm
Trudged off to liyen's place to help denny and vincent with the food (imho sandwiches are a little strange). You should see when the brainy-but-useless trio ,them being siangsern, howhuei and weehoo (well, he left with denny awhile later) came into the picture. They (the remaining 2) kept on squabbling like old ladies, and we were all begging them to shut up cause there were other housemates sleeping. And for some strange reason, since mph, they kept on going on and on about siangsern and liyen, or howhuei and yuanshe.. ?_? All in the name of fun, and they were funny.

4.45pm
Dumped all the stuff @ mph, and finally! Got a breather. *phew*mishan and rowena were already there, got a glo-stick, the 'staff' tag (which was done at liyen's place simultaneously w/ the foodstuff) and took a good look at the stage. Looked professional~ neaat~! The music was already starting. Talk about getting into the beat, it was practically next to us. The guys were in collared shirts, which made them look..well..their purpose for the day was to be bodyguards. They looked it alright. Led by yeehou, who was constantly walking to and fro, up and down.. kudos to you guys~

Saw fiona! wow~ I haven't seen her in a looooong while, she's in theone academy now doing graphic design. wow again. =D

Whoaaa it's crazy in there! People (at first) just sat around at the tables, but as time drew on, almost everyone got onto the dance floor! Picking up the pace, what little dancing on the limited space had driven us all into a frenzy~ cheering, screaming, get the picture? no? then imagine it~

OMG no.1!
Saw Mrs Sue! She's there! So I called her out to dance (well, with the S9 girls as well) @_@ She did! XDXD Sporting nya!! XDXD She's probably the first teacher I've ever seen do that! Actually I looked around for the K3 students to dance along too, I figured at least chor yeow would be interested..but none in sight, so I just carried on. When I *did* see him later, he was practically devastated (it's the closest term I could find) that he missed it~ I think of the S9 IT students, only me and kenseong saw..hehehe..

OMG no.2!
Then I saw mrs angelene! She brought her son along too, and her son was brought upstage (by chinyuan) which led to a cheer and more screaming.

OMG no.3!
Shuffling is not really a dance, its feet movement. The arm movements are more to decoration, its the feet that do the talking. denny's really good, he looked great doing it! The crowd went wild~ vincent's second to Denny though (you're good too, but no offence, anyway, you probably know too right) I remember there were 3 good ones, denny, a guy in a red jacket and another guy in really flashy pants (the kind of flashy that is implemented in safety for cyclists and motorists used in the safety jackets and helmets). All were good, all drew in the crowd great, and all knew how to handle it. I guess clubbing is usual for them.

OMG no.4!
weehoo and siangsern! *cheers* They dance! This was unexpected. Seriously. I didn't think that they'd do it or anything, but they DID! XDXDXD They sort of went into 'high' mode after liyen asked them to join us... then somehow it ended up siangsern and rowena dancing! They were *very* interesting to look at, I think while we were agape looking at them we're thinking "Wow that's siangsern wei, ehhehehe *laughing gila gila gila* *cheering gila gila gila*"

I am so glad I'm back home.. my feet ache, my eyelids are getting heavier by the minute, my stomach doesn't rumble even though I had entirely skipped dinner. weela.
