H2G2

Went to watch this movie with oji todayy. It was great fun.

I spy #1: ojimaru's shirt was nice~ XD Well, I like the design on the back, and the calligraphic letters~ white shows up good on navy blue.

I thought I arrived early..but he's been there since 11+ getting the tix. @_@ So I wonder what he did with the time (supposed to meet at 1) I went book-browsing, saw some other titles that I considered getting. And for some reason, there were alot of Don Quixote books there. Maybe fools attract each other. **Did I just kick myself with that statement?!**

GSC..was...whoa man. Maybe cause it's new, it's really...(I actually hesitate to say this)... clean. And comfy. XD bigger chairs. Can actually snuggle and curl up and sleep there XD Nice sound, and watched some more eye-candy trailers. Namely, the Chronicles of Narnia, War of the Worlds which is out on Wednesday, and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

And! The most relevant advert in the cinema (to me XDXDXD):

Disneyland Hongkong opens on 12th September!
The movie was really funny cause..well..The jokes in the show were one of a kind. It's the kind that either you get it in a flash, or be forever bewildered at their weirdness. If it's the former, then you'll be thoroughly confused throughout the movie (there was this couple in front of us that got up and out in the middle of it; I guess this was the case).

Come to think of it, we were the only ones laughing...I agree with ojimaru on that, cause I realized after awhile that the cinema was pretty quiet. Bleargh. It's alot of Brit humor as well, doubtless to say, dad would enjoy it.

This show is for intellectuals. Really really.

It kinda made my brain feel stupid, as I couldn't stop laughing. I like that song "So long, and
thanks for all the fish!" and the Voghons, not to mention that planet..what's it called..Magrathea? @_@ Mind boggling. But good fun. And what of the custom-made planets being a luxury commodity?

One more thing that took my breath away (apart from laughing nonstop) was the photography. Amazing! I was so amazed that a show would feature great screencaps of nature! I salute the photography director. *hats off*

Salute Douglas Adams for a whacky story!

I spy #2: Saw Paul Moss! (yeah, for the blissfully ignorant, it's that 'critical' Malaysian Idol judge) He was actually there as a special guest for promoting 8TV's new tv series (Joey & Desperate Housewives). Looks the same to me, so much for people going around claiming that the original, in-the-flesh appearance was better than on TV. hahahah~
