on the fly

Today we dropped by LT2 cause there was some kind of performance audition thingy for the prom.. We wanted to be audiences since we thought denny would be auditioning. I just wanted to see what the response was like, and see what kind of people sing what kinda song.

Somehow, somewhere along the line, butterfly-girl liyen dragged me to go audition. @_@ For the heck of it, I did. Since the bus didn’t arrive till 4.15pm, and it was only 3.15pm… And anyway I wouldn’t necessarily end up actually performing, so why not? After all, it’d be something to do to kill time.

It was all well for me to say that, but to be standing there is another thing altogether. In fact, I was surprised at myself.

“Whoa man, what’s wrong with me?! Even with so little people around I’m feeling shaky already… Imagine if I’m doing the real thing, in front of everyone.. That would be freaky. And anyway here I am going to sing Kingfisher Girl by maaya.. I bet nobody knows this song. Blarh, but whatever happens, just don’t screw up here…. It would be real humiliating…”
