official end of chaos week 1

I have a sore throat. It always tickles my throat at the wrong time (i.e. in the middle of lecture) and goddamn it it’s so blardy annoying! T____T What really sucks is that you know how dry the air here can get, so it aggravates my throat and now it hurts just to bloody swallow and I sound so hoarse I sound like I just came out of a 5-hour karaoke session. *cries*

----------------------------------------------------------

Yes, kids, it’s that time again~ It’s for the *observe the lecturer* series, Year 2!

*observe the lecturer* #1
Mr Madhu teaches FIT2001. His lectures are pretty much standard, but the subject has a slightly unpleasant tinge of FIT1003 which is not a good sign. However, since there are 2 parts to this subject, the analysis part (this may be the unpleasant half) and the design (I think this is the one where we program solutions), this subject has hope =D His first lecture really sent me to sleep… Who the heck does an introduction/overview of a subject for bloody 90 minutes?! I was nodding off already 20 minutes into “the many responsibilities of a systems analyst”. Spare me, I don’t need this shit. Butbutbut! I haven’t given up on it yet.. I still have faith that he may yet redeem himself. It was amusing to see him go “Oh, shit!” when his phone rang in the middle of tutorial. I didn’t think that lecturers use those kinda words in front of students, but then again we’re not 5. Not to mention who’s frigging idea was it to mandate a “reflective blog” on the subject as a hurdle?! I know it’s not my lecturer’s cause he definitely thinks it’s quite unnecessary (thank goodness) but we still have to bloody do it. *siiiigh*

*observe the lecturer* #2
Mr Iqbal is teaching us FIT2020. Seriously, if there’s one lecturer which I suspect is bapuk, this is the guy. His manner of speech, hand gestures and the way he flails his arms as he tries to explain things are… very… “pink”. And if you don’t know me already, I simply detest that colour and most if not all the meanings that come with it. Food (i.e. cotton candy/fairy floss) is forgiven. Love is red, not pink. Health, well… not unless you’re a pig or a baby. After hearing this guy go around in circles around the same topic I really miss Mr Tham, his lecturers were way more animated than this bapuk’s ever will be. On top of that his Indianney-Australian accent is just dodgy, and makes things a little hard on the ears sometimes. >___>

*observe the lecturer* #3
Mr Ray is the dude taking FIT2029. Well, he seems to have some issue in self-confidence. Not that he stutters as he talks but he keeps referring to the lecturer who previously taught the subject like he’s some kind of God. Goddamn it build a backbone and do things your way, not his! He probably taught some computer graphics unit before, judging from his numerous references to it only second to the lecturer who used to teach this subject (forgot the name… wasn’t really listening as I was trying to stop myself from getting into another coughing fit). Again I think I’m going to like this subject; HTML, CSS, Perl, CGI, PHP, Javascript.. sounds like a whole bag of fun for me! Please don’t make me hate it, please, please, please...

*observe the lecturer* #4
Mr Vaughan teaches MKW1120. I have to hand it to him, he’s a good lecturer. I actually like his lectures. Just one catch though; his face actually looks like one of those military/juvenile camp officers so when he cracks jokes it probably will scare children who don’t know him. But really, he’s good at what he does. Somehow he reminds me of Dr.Cox from Scrubs. No tutorial this week (apparently it’s conducted by a lady, Ms. Maxine or something) so yeahyeahyeah I’m free for the weekend alreadyyy!! X3

Going to Morwell later, seriously the kitchen needs a dishrack otherwise all the dishes are laid out in a massive heap after dinner. @___@

This is just the appetizer. I still have the Big Day Out and the previous Big Scooter dinner as well as Luna Park to cover. Sorry to the stalker(s), please be patient…
