a human function: to adapt
Panadol is a miracle worker; by this morning I felt okay already XD. I suspect my sudden chill came from not wearing a jacket when there's cold air-con blasting towards me, be it in class or on the bus. damn it. So I made sure to bring a nice snuggly jacket. =D
Got to know a bit more of my classmates and teachers.
Physics teacher is Mrs Lim and boy is she critical. She's probably in her fifties cause her manner of speech gives alot away. She puts on this 'auntie' attitude in class, and how should I say this...She always likes to say these 'humble', withdrawing words, some examples include:
"I don't know lah! Don't ask me!"
"And you add the vectors like this and this and so on, and then.."(simply leaving us in midair assuming that we know, of course she will probably repeat if we're *really* stuck)
"You see ah, you ah, make me all confused, aiyah!"
"Now don't expect me to know everything, if I don't know I will tell you to look for the answer and I expect you to tell me tomorrow ah..."
Mrs Angelene is a very communicative teacher. Today she was briefing us on our individual project, and we discussed on various argumentative topics, like on Malaysian football and basketball, and US attack on Iraq.. Which was an eye-opener, and a vast difference from previous exposure in high school. Since we spent half the time jotting down the term's syllabus thingy, there wasn't really much time for anything else. After a short discussion it was about time to go.
Rowena is a pretty girl with a chirpy voice and has very nice shoes XD I couldn't help noticing them. She's fair, has shoulder-length hair with the ends curled and sits right in front of the teacher's table.
When we were touring the library yesterday the librarian was talking so slowly my eyes just averted...and one way or another I was looking at everyone's shoes. Li-yen was wearing slippers/filpflops, Rowena was wearing ankle-length heeled boots(that's my guess, her jeans covered most of her feet), most of the girls and guys alike were wearing sportshoes. I remember a guy was wearing leather shoes, but I don't know who.
Rowena may be the genki-ish type, but nothing will beat Pn Mahani (S9's chem teacher).. She's hyper-o! I bet she's super-fun.. Now I'm reconsidering taking chem. XD Kidding.
Aaron probably (lessay 80%? I mean it's so damn obvious) likes/is trying hard to impress li-yen. The guys had heck of a good time teasing him about it. hehehe, sucks to him. He definitely couldn't be any more discreet, seeing that he's the type that cracks crap all the time.
Vincent's probably the most foreign student in class..He's from Sibu. He sits next to me(or is it the other way? either way it probably doesn't matter) and I have probably talked to him more than any other student from my class... next to yitmeng, but that was before she left. It's hard to describe someone when the general outline's so general. Spiky hair, height about 5'8", smallish eyed with no double eyelid, kinda flat wide squarish face, wears shirt and bermudas with shin length sportsocks and white sportshoes. Yeah. Something like that. *goes off to think..*I really didn't look into remembering my classmate's names yet, but I roughly know the faces in my class. Come to think about it, my class is an engineering science class, but the admin added me (an IT student) to that class and tweaked my timetable so that I would join an IT class for IT only while the rest would be having chem. That would probably explain my getting 2 sheets of timetables for 2 different groups. Oh well. No big deal.
