rhetorical questions
During break met up with Jaclyn to go eat. At the hawker's, eating lunch, we offered to share a table with three other girls. And in the middle of eating I realized that they were staring somewhere else, kinda like leaving their mouths hanging open in the middle of lunch. I just stared. What the heck are they doing? Then I looked at Jaclyn. "What are they looking at?" It couldn't be some cute guy behind us, or something amazing happening...so I looked back, trying to get an answer and continue eating in peace.
It was a canto tv serial being aired and they just stopped midway to watch it. =_=;; They really looked ludicrous. It was nearly... spastic-looking. Correction; it WAS spastic.
cheng yi was asking these rhetorical questions about East Malaysia, so much so that me and Vincent had to laugh. I mean,
"Can you walk from Miri to Brunei?"
"Got any shopping malls there or not?"
sure brought around peals of laughter. It got Vincent half protesting and half-laughing as we were explaining things. Our group was me, yee hua, cheng yi, yuan she, vincent, ken seong and denny. At first we were doing our math homework, then the guys came into the picture and our homework out the window. So one hour just came and went like that, while we were talking crap.
We had the time to waste cause our specialist math teacher was absent since her father had just passed away. My condolences to her and her family, hope she's genki enough to come back next week. In my opinion she reminds me of ai-chan's mom. She looks like her, and has this funny pronounciation with the letter 'r', sort of makes it curl longer than it's supposed to. Also, her hair is about mid-back length and has a soft curl and the way she dresses...
Time for ESL. Mrs Angelene has this funny habit to fly out of topic while we're discussing. Yesterday we were discussing about the essay regarding cats, and then in half a minute she was talking about how a huge American labrador held her between paws at a friend's house, and it happened to be during the animal mating season..@_@ With this she concludes that she really like dogs, and has some connection to them.. @_@ Today we were talking about writing thesis statements, then she flew off onto cloud 9 and started talking about some other irrelevant issue. It's great that she interacts with us students, I don't mind that. She's extremely open. =D So we can probably talk about just anything under the sun.
After classes I saw jon and syed at the gates..
"Since when did you start wearing a skirt?"
"......."
"What?! Stop looking! All my jeans are in the wash, so I ended up wearing this.."
"hehehe.."<--Jon and that smirk of his..
They just continued staring. =_=;; I didn't know it was such a huge impact. It was funny, but it was weird. Weird in sense that their reaction would be.. like that.
