cute food devoured. they lived a good life.
Yesterday it was me, aichan and el @ aichan's. It was a Saturday that kind of made me wish the four of us owned a place together to hang out in, or live in. Don't ask me why I think that way, I'm not lesbian (this has to be the xth time I'm making this declaration.. *sigh*)
Lunch was an interesting fare of cute food. =D I concur with the title of Teh Official Creator of Cute Food on aichan. XDXD Cute little roast chicken which we didn't do much justice to (we practically tore it apart, such barbarians we are) and el kept on going about the food "having lived a good life, and now it's our turn" (which was in turn a comment casually mentioned by yours truly which was given a special place in el's mind XD) which does make sense, mwahah. And there was the chicken gravy + mushrooms (the cutest you'll ever set your eyes on XDXDXD) and stir-fried brussel sprouts (which were also very cute X3) and potato salad (with cute potatoes =3) and great banana cake which el's dad conjured, and mass produced by her maid. Yeshuu, now next time bring cheesecake shuuu! We kinda forgot her aunt was dropping by later so we practically licked all the plates clean (el was actually threatening to) and so her bro and her aunt ended up going out to Thai. aaaa~~ but I wouldn't have missed all the cute food for that. Extra plus it is self-cooked (save for the chicken, but still...)
Most of the time we were watching some videos of Gackt, Honey & Clover, and erm.. listening to Ellegarden. XDXDXD I like Ellegarden, although I think it might've been better if they had a better count of Japanese songs. Too much English from a Japanese band is like too much icing on a cake. And in this case, an already great cake. XDXDXD Then more of Gackt, more of Hyde-ojisan and well they're not convincing me to join either, I'm for Ken Hirai. >=D But if you ask me to choose between Gackt and Hyde.. oh gosh, this is hard, I don't have any inclination for either. But Gackt is younger, so Gackt it is. And anyway Hyde doesn't go around cosplaying schoolgirls or nurses either. (!!! Still, Gackt is sporting, but Hyde might've fared better since he's shorter - he's probably my height, or that's what aichan says)
Yvonne's party later that night was alright, she was a good host. Was abit of a challenge to describe what industrial design was, but we managed something to alleviate her curiosity. Mostly it was meeting former high school mates that we hadn't seen in a long time, like Paulynn, Ven, Melvin, and the rest of it. So much for Ven's 'anime hair' but it really does stay in place like it was made of plastic, even as we were ruffling it it fell right back in place. *whistles* I can't say I wasn't amazed, cause that wouldn't be true.
After awhile we went back to aichans, and started drawing... el! She's supposed to be an assassin, with a considerable influence of the Middle East. That kinda accounts for the hair, but as we were drawing it we realized... *gasp* she's starting to look like Soi Fong, but not quite. I guess I thought of the fringe looking like Soi Fong's cause of el's new haircut. X3 It's so cute, it makes her look like a japanese ningyou~~~ XDXD
