a crime of vanity

Actually I did this quite some time ago, this was before the exams (dangerously close, in fact) when I was totally fed up of reading on databases and Oracle. I was talking with Alvin about something or the other, and somehow it led me to looking for pictures of guys who can really look like girls and vice versa. Then I came across this korean trend where girls (well in most cases if not all, haven't seen a guy doing this yet) who are very very professional users of Photoshop (or whatever digital image editing program) that alter their faces from a plain Jane to a Super Jane. Really really. I don't know what the Korean term for it is though; my curiosity was heightened by it so I thought to myself, "Why not?"

The picture below is the unedited cropped photo (ok I'm lying abit, I only touched up the cheeks in this one) where I look like I haven't been sleeping for days...but I blame it on the networks lab report we had to finish the day before the Monash ball.



And this picture below is after the massive touchup. I swear, I look like 40 different people at once. Well that was what I kept saying to myself initially after finishing it, cause it sure doesn't look like the original now does it? XP Even korg had to do a double take.



But in truth, on looking at both the pictures, even though this one may be more aesthetically pleasing, it looks kinda fake. Maybe I should play with Photoshop, and then tell the plastic surgeon that I wanna end up looking like this. bwahahaha. But I don't think I'll ever want to step into a plastic surgeon's, anyway.
