leaving?

I didn't intend to hide it, but I didn't intend to boast it either.

I'll be headed off to Gippsland next February. In case for those that don't know, it's somewhere in Victoria, very very far from the City - let's say, bout 2 hours drive. Don't know when exactly though. My mom kept on asking me stuff like "What is it you're gonna miss the most once you get there?" and "I'm so gonna miss you when you're there" and "I hope you don't come back and miss Australia" and all that stuff, even though I haven't even started planning on what to pack. Heck, I haven't even applied for a visa. One of the many things which I should be doing soon. Anyone with any ideas or tips on what to pack and stuff just drop a note ok? =D

Went down to Lowyat today to check out the laptops, and here are the top 3 contenders:

1. Toshiba A100 @ RM3999
2. Asus F3F @ ~RM3499
3. Compaq V3105 @ ~RM 3499

What's your vote?

I would be quite satisfied with a 14 inch one.. but since they're pretty much leaning on the 15 inch end, I'm not complaining either. I would just like to jack up the RAM to bout 2GB if possible (ideally) so that I can really push it to the limit, complete with Vista (hopefully) and all my stuff like Photoshop and the works.

Bought a pair of sneakers from Sungei Wang too since I was eyeing it since Sunday when I went out with aichan and her ex-JC classmates. Pretty funky and something I think I would be able to wear with the rest of my stuff. Will save it for new year's.

*siiiigh* I won't be back home for new year!! Just when the renovation's done too, can't enjoy the pretty shiney wood flooring and the new sitting room with the pretty windows and my parents' room... T_T and my room and my books and my piano and my trusty ol' desktop and my couch and my books and guama and and and and..... *cries* I suppose I'll get used to it though, so now's the time to enjoy my... slightly dustier home even more XD
