dancing, dancing, dance the night away!
I'll start with the daytime fiasco.
Went for 2 interviews - one in the morning, one in the afternoon.
The morning interview.. I don't even know whether I could call it an interview. Was quite put off when the interviewer kept going "blah blah blah" - eh if it's not important just don't say it! Not exactly impressive to be belittling things you're supposed to inform potential employees of. I only asked him this one question - "Frankly speaking, how's it like working here?" I'm pretty sure I felt that pause, and the monotonous answer said heaps about their 'exciting' working environment. He didn't really ask me anything, he just explained. On and on about what the company is, what their tech division did (and maybe what I'll be working on). That's about it.
And even if I'm a potential employee, I am still external to this organization - and in effect, a 'guest' of your company(if you will), and the very least you can do is to be a good host to a guest right? If you can't even offer a proper handshake and lead your guests out properly (holding the door and all - nothing to do with chivalry) what kind of impression do you give, seriously? And if you can't even look me in the eye when you talk to me, what do you think I bloody think? Tosser.

Second interview in the afternoon:
First off, the company is under a different name, and the office itself is under yet another name. Dodgy, no? And after opening the door, I'm greeted with a mountain of Dell product boxes (moving in, moving out? I have no idea) Sat in front of the interviewer who told me to fill in a form. Fine, fill the form out. After handing it back to him, he seemed to be studying the paper to find questions to ask. I mean hey you *did* remember there was an interview today right? Again, no real questions asked. (Are you even seriously planning to hire people or you're just calling people in for farks? I'm not as free as you are, buddy.) I felt like that was a complete sham - "Why was I there again?"
Time spent there (tops): 15 minutes?

The night, though - was absolutely awesome.
Decided to take up Aizat's offer to attend the KL Swing Social. I think we were there pretty early cause the crowd wasn't quite there yet - Jordan eating, and Lionel & Nabihan busting their moves.. which made me go *wow* - ok part of the reason was cause Lionel was *already* sweating buckets. But that's not the point. Anyway... they gave Loong & me a quick taster (you know, just the basics on 6-count) and then well we're off! XD And then Aizat comes around and says "It's kinda weird cause we usually do the 8-count... ok come I'll teach you" haha so I get this quick starter on the 8-count as well. It's pretty fun cause the only thing I had to remember was the hop-step-triple step.. the rest just comes naturally. Following is fun (we don't have to think yay? XD) and that was all it took, the rest, as they say, is history.
My personal fave of the night:
"It's BIRTHDAY JAAMM!!" - Nabihan, 2009cuteness! XP I dunno it was just the way she said it =P
Goodness we just danced the entire night away! And idiot me didn't know I was supposed to wear flats so swinging in heels was quite.. painful by the end of the night. =P I know better now! *frowns*
Can't wait for next week! Really really =3
