water caltrops

I had no freaking idea what these were called! I just thought they were some nut-things that looked like bull horns. And that you eat them during the mooncake festival...alongside the mooncake and drinking tea and lighting lanterns all over the place in the garden, enjoying the moonlit night! Surprisingly quite a number of people I ask never heard of it or seen it.. but its common in my house (at least where the mooncake festival is involved)
Water caltrops. What a weird name. heh and hiro used the power of Wiki to sate my curiosity of what its called! Hail Wiki!

The mooncake festival happens to be one of my more favourite Chinese festivals.. simply because my Chinese birthday is supposed to fall around the same time as the festival.. and guess what, the starlets of the festival is Chang-E and her rabbit! A rabbittt~~~ which is also my zodiac mascot =D How neat is that!
