toys are wonderful

Well until today, there was a box filled with toys from our kiddy days sentenced to a life in the dumpster. So when guama came over, she was aghast at our non-hoarding behaviour and decided to rescue the lot of them. Having saved them from their potentially cruel fate, korg and I decided to dig around and see what we would like to keep.

I found my Ultraman Taro! Gosh I loved this toy, I don't know why. It was probably before and during the early stages of the Barbie ages, but I really loved this one.. cause korg was always having the original Ultraman, so this was the next best. =)

Korg found a heap of Transformers toys, some X-Men figurines and even more Transformers toys.. I found Jazz but unfortunately it was wrecked beyond repair, my fave black and white Autobot. sigh! We also found the Donatello (TMNT) which could do somersaults but unfortunately not in working order.. but still looked pretty cool. And the Wolverine and Archangel and Gambit! And the original Ultraman, the kiap kiap blue-coloured crab monster and the Godzilla-looking monster from the Ultraman series.. ahha I don't remember what they're called really. I remember the Godzilla-ey monster poked me more than once and boy it hurt, so I didn't like that monster very much. *sticks tongue at it*

And since there was a couple of empty shelves in ti's room with okay-ish lighting, I decided to go on a shooting spree and made the toys my models for the day XD So my subjects for the day were Ultraman Taro, Robocop, Roger Rabbit, Mickey Mouse, Emma Hemmerich, Jack Skellington, Roy Mustang and Maes Hughes. Hahah yea the first 4 were the original retros, the rest just came along for the fun of the whole idea. I'm not here to be criticized about lighting or angles or aperture since I don't have the gear.. and besides the models were all covered in dust and the urge to shoot them just came along like craving for chirashizushi.. so I did what was best when temptation presented itself - I succumbed to it XDXDXD
