first day of uni.

The orientation was a bore, since it was just speech after speech after speech. I didn't expect any less. The student council was interesting, cause they seem more alive than us.

A thought: You're addressing students who have been stoning for the last 3 months and are not used to starting their days listening to droll scripts read off sheets of paper. Don't torture us so.

First speaker (PVC as I remember this student abbreviating Pro-Vice Chancellor - funny XP but why the heck a Pro-Vice? Can't it just be vice? o_o) wore a bowtie *gasp!* since the mic wasn't working too well, could not really get what he was getting at. Then more speeches explaining and informing us on services, counselling, fees, and the rest of it. There was this old chinese dude with a very typical Brit stand-up-comedian (if they even exist; otherwise let there be a new genre!) slang which was VERY amusing to listen to. Not surprising as he is in charge of this English language test I have to sit for on Wednesday.

Someone just had to pop this question to him; "Is it compulsory for us to enter for this English test?" during a FAQ session. *rolls eyes* Some proofreading would be in order beffore submitting queries. Like I said, we're not exactly the brightest pins in the box @ 9am.

First person I met for the day was evie.

"This is seriously sad lah, no leng chais wan.."

One hour later: "So what's the leng chai count?"

"One."

siigh. Sad is right. I have heard that it's flocked with chun chicks, but what IS the point of telling a girl this? Yet another brainless statement.

I saw Richard! OMG! X3 after god-knows-how-long I haven't seen him, he's still the same. He and his funny asthmatic laugh, lanky strides and wide grin, donned in a blue check shirt. And sumei - and paulynn - aaron - praevin - thought I saw yenling - cheanvoon - wow. Quite abit of DU people.

Taylor's people also quite a crowd. hou - kim - evie - seowhui - zhengfai - I thought gheejune was supposed to attend, but didn't see him - guo hun - mickey (XP my nick for ruennyee) - and yaufei (well he's a Sunway student, but still~) - a S8 joshua, and some other recognizable faces, but no name attached.

Cabut-ed early as I did not want to be a corpse rotting on the spot. But not like there was anything much I was missing; the itenary was already 80% through.

Read the rest of Gantz. @_@ Kei is so goddamn different; Gantz sure changed him. From some really stuck-up prick to a chivalrious leader of sorts. Well, that was *while* he was in the game. oops. Said too much. And izumi is like "a black-haired sephy", quoting korg. Couldn't disagree to that - long hair, katana-wielding, cold and calculative. But it's funny that he has a panda clinging onto him. *pbhfttt* yes, even when he's on a 'mission' (I'd call it game, but it wouldn't have the grosteque element in it if I did.)

Damn, it's not easy being spoiler-free, but anyway to know what the heck I'm talking about, go read for yourself XP

Also watched Hellsing:OVA that korg downloaded the other day. Alucard's hair keeps covering the opposite eye, and it isn't consistent. Sometimes right, sometimes left,. Does it have a live of its own?! But he looks soo much better. Victoria - no comment. just that her hair is longer and spikier. Integra - still the bithc she always was. Anderson - yet another warning that Jap people should really learn decent English before attempting to verbalise phrases (I'm not even allowing the word -sentence- not yet, anyway.)

Currently addicted to HOME MADE 家族 - MUSICATION (among other recent additions in my collection. Rock ON DJ MICRO + KURO! X3
