the Phantom haunts, the Angel of Music

happy birthday nii-chan!

Went out to watch the Phantom of the Opera today.. There were 8 of us; me, ai-chan, reeis, jyan, kai-kun, mat-occhan, kiyaa and an exchange student from Japan named yumika.

The movie was amazing.. I liked almost everything about it, the voices, the singing, the dancing, the costumes, the set... I really wanna watch it again~ X3 Erik has got a really nice voice, I'm not surprised Christine calls him her 'Angel of Music'. La Carlotta was funny too, though she was meant to be an arrogant *&^$*. And god her voice was really piercing, something I wouldn't wanna listen to again. And I hate Raoul. Come on, he's so pretty boy, and on top of that he's just really stupid. ugh. I don't understand Christine's choice in men. But then again, he's got a pretty good singing voice.

Dancing was a no-brainer; it was good. My favourite by far has to be Masquerade. The song is very festive, and the dancer in a gold vest and black & white mask is really good. ^_^ I don't really know the titles for the songs they sang, but my favourite voices are Christine's and Erik's. It just sorta stuck after the movie, all day it was ringing in my head.
