farewell #6: the nakama farewell!

I had entirely forgotten that I was fetching el from Taman Bahagia instead of Kelana Jaya that morning… @___@ but good thing she told me otherwise I would have waited at kj forever XP Also handed her “The Left Hand Of Darkness” which is very much her kind of thing. Okay, it’s science fiction regarding some asexual beings and a human convoy on their planet. The words & situations the seme & uke are in are really very apparent, just that there was no actual action. El, just be happy and run wild with your unruly imagination.

Went to watch Babel almost immediately on reaching GSC. OMGOMGOMG aichan was in her sundress, denim jacket and boots! XDXDXD She looked so sweet in it! But when I saw her also I had entirely forgotten that I had agreed with her to wear a dress on that day too T_____T

Babel kind of reminds me of Cloud Atlas because it’s about multiple stories that are connected by some fine thread. Definitely more depressing though. I found it funny that the scriptwriter & director (well whoever’s in charge of the storyline and script) decided to make Brad Pitt’s character a suave one in a very random moment. Also that the deaf Japanese girl Chieko was excessively horny throughout the scenes and that she was probably held a bigger role than Brad Pitt since she was featured more often (hey it’s called 18PL for something right?!) Not to mention we were wondering how the 12-year-old (or so) Arabic boy made it through that scene where he decided to take 5 to go masturbate in a crevice hidden from the sheep (and his elder brother) out of boredom.

Somewhere while watching the movie reeis decided to pass me the popcorn, to which I already held it and as she was letting go I felt the box tip over so I tried to hold it still and aichan who was between us and in front of the popcorn tried to save the popcorn too and gripped the box hard so the box got squashed and all the popcorn flew out of the box and there it was right below my seat & aichan’s; a popcorn graveyard. I cry for the popcorn, and I cry for the people who have to clean up the massive mess. Soooorrryyy…. T___T But on recounting it I actually found it funny to remember the flying popcorn and hearing the crackle of caramelized popcorn as I accidentally put my foot down.

Had a light meal after. Bought takoyaki, a donburi with ancient chicken and some sushi. My hands were itching for something to do, so while they were talking about el’s mom and reeis’ involvement in MLM and aichan fiddling with her Rubik cube I decided to scratch a clearer tako on the polystyrene box.. It just somehow expanded and the tako now was radiating heat, had a sweatdrop and said “Yo” in a speech bubble. Then everyone else got into the fun and El donated her plastic grass from the sushi box and the sticker and aichan broke one of the takoyaki sticks to support the sticker to form a banner and the grass was held in place with another takoyaki stick on the bottom of the tako and voila!

Walked around randomly (saw keatkeat on break by pure chance) to shops like Zara (while we were on the way to Guess we saw eiko! Surprise surprise) and Guess (saw voon there! Surprise surprise again) while trying on random clothes and jackets. The wooly crotchet thing from Guess is really scratchy, and there’s a white dress from Zara which is not possibly wearable by short people since it makes them look even shorter. TRF = terminally/three retarded friends (at least in regards to the horrific ahpek-singlet looking things that come in threes, guess the letters why don’t you)

As we were following reeis to do her shopping @ Giant aichan’s mom called so our meeting was just cut short like that. Then el proceeded to call her aunt and speaking in the cutest Cantonese ever! XD Thought we could spare some time so we followed reeis into Giant anyway, and then aichan had to say byebye so we thought it would be a good time to split. We actually parted at the aisle where there was Anlene milk on the left and a sampling counter with broccoli on the right… maybe one of these days we will come back to Giant, gather at that same spot and reminisce! XDXDXD

Talk about parting in the weirdest places.
