an unfortunate unplanned weekend
I stayed at chowchow's room at Clayton, then I headed out to Melbourne for the day. Met up with liyen and her housemate cause they just happened to finish their shopping when I arrived at Melbourne Central. So I went on down to her place, which is somewhat smaller than my place but still a nice quaint place~ she was having a flu then.
After she packed up her shopping stuff we went to A1 in ChinaTown (Little Bourke St.) to eat some really good charsiew, siuyok and egg with rice. XD I'm definitely going back there next time I go to the City. On the way to the shop we stopped by a bakery and bought some egg tarts which were also nice to eat~
Full and satisfied from lunch, we took a walk around and went to Cotton On to shop for abit. I guess I wanted to buy some tops cause I had already worn everything I brought at least once before and I wanted something new to wear X3 Hey, I didn't get to buy anything new for CNY to wear alright, cut me some slack here...
Saw the mime at Bourke St. I just thought it was a rather weird place to perform, it's like blatant advertising for Adidas everytime a tourist or anyone took a picture of it. Which made it abit potong stim, if you know what I mean.
After I left liyen, I went back to Clayton to pick up my stuff and headed back to town cause I intended to stay the night at my aunt's. I took the train all right, I just took the wrong tram and ended up in St. Kilda. I wanted to go to Fitzroy, not Fitzroy St. T___________________T
I'm just thankful Vincent had a car so he rescued me XD
Went out to dinner with Bobby, Yuanshe, Vincent and his cousin Derrick at Lygon Street. By this time Liyen was down with a fever, so she couldn't make it. T_T
I haven't seen yuanshe in a year! So yeah it was great fun to see her again, she's got a funkier haircut now. As for Bobby, she still looks the same, and she and Vincent quarrel like husband and wife as well as eat alot! XD yuanshe and I were just observing that all of us had practically finished eating except them and they were still attacking the food with gusto.
"Let's see who eats more!"
The winner of that eating contest was undecided, cause I think they ate about the same amount. hahaha XP Sorry bobby, it's true! Or at least that's what I thought.
Went down to the Crown after that, just to see what it's like. Met up with choryeow and so with him and Bobby we went around, commenting on what a con job the electronic roulette machines are and the complicated slot machines. Turns out that Vincent won a neat little sum so he treated us all to drinks.. I don't know what it was, but it wasn't really strong and it looked like some rendition of alcoholic Slurpee which probably caused us all to suffer from mild degrees of brain freeze.
I'm really embarassed by the fact that my phone died, I didn't bring a charger and that I ended up at my aunt's place at 1240AM when the entire household had retired to bed (which is definitely not a good thing to do when your distant relatives are being very hospitable to you).
Well, I stayed the night at my aunt's all right, she was telling me how we should have worked a proper arrangement before I came over cause she's a real light sleeper (see why I said it's really not a good thing to do... >_<) The next morning, there was gonna be a lion dance at our house, but ti forgot to switch on the webcam so I just heard the noise, but not see it. *siiiigh*

Missed the 225PM vLine back to Morwell by a good 15 minutes, so I waited for the next one which was about 2 hours later. Really didn't do anything useful there, and I didn't bring my jacket so it was pretty cold while I waited at the platform.
SIGH.
When I got back, I had already missed the last bus (which was at about 2-something, and my friend whom I was supposed to travel with and she got on the earlier train that I missed got a ride back from a friend) so yeah I was pretty much stranded at the train station until Ms Persia was nice enough to drive out to pick me up.. Thank goodness I carried that call card around with me. It really saved me. Really really.
I got a bloody earful from my parents after I got back to Gippsland from that weekend trip. This is the result of really not planning.
