shoes
I didn't think it would take so much trouble just to get a pair of shoes.
ti's an ass for insisting for a pair of Adidas costing RM300. Damn, even my Converse only at most reached a third of the price of those shoes he's pining for.
mom and dad are.. just being mom and dad.
Adidas Superstar NS Silver
Rejected first time because of the price.
Converse Point Man
2nd time because the shoe didn't exactly fit even though it is common that shoes will loosen a little after a few weeks' wear.
I'm not surprised ti's ticked off either.
I realize he has to fight real hard for getting things, something that I never really had to face. But then again, he's really an idiot for picking fights where he's obviously in the wrong and then asks for something which he thinks is plausible (which isn't mainly because he doesn't think things out beforehand) which will then lead to another fight of sorts - either a "pseudo-intellectual argument while pushing the opposition to admit there's nothing wrong from his point of view" or just a real parent-child fight over something else.
Why won't he grow up and reach for a compromise?
On the other hand, why won't they see what I think I see?
Frustrates me to no end to think that this is what makes the void between parents and children grow into a chasm.
sigh.
